Hot-air balloon makes emergency landing

SORRENTO VALLEY – A hot-air balloon has made a safe emergency landing on a sidewalk alongside Lusk Boulevard, near Mira Mesa Boulevard in Sorrento Valley, according to San Diego police.

No injuries or property damage have been reported. It’s unclear why the pilot of the craft had to set it down on the roadside.
