House Intelligence Committee releases summary of impeachment evidence

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – By a vote of 13-to-9 along party lines, the House Intelligence Committee voted just hours ago to forward its report on evidence against President Trump concerning the impeachment inquiry to the House Judiciary Committee.

The 300-page report is the result of 17 witness interviews including 12 that took place during public hearings.

The report says President Trump solicited the interference of a foreign government, Ukraine, to benefit his re-election campaign and endangered national security. The report also says that Congress will have to make the decision for impeachment.

KUSI Contributor and AM 760 Radio Host Mark Larson was in studio to discuss the report and the upcoming judiciary hearing which starts Wednesday.
