House Judiciary Committee seeks Mueller’s grand-jury evidence in aftermath of testimony

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller answered questions from lawmakers on Capitol Hill earlier this week. Afterward, some lawmakers said that the testimony they heard would not support a path toward considering the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

However, Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler filed a lawsuit yesterday to access secret grand jury material from Mueller’s investigation.

Nadler says the information will help Democrats decide on whether to introduce articles of impeachment in Congress.
