House Speaker Pelosi leads bipartisan delegation in Jordan visit

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is leading a bipartisan delegation of lawmakers to Jordan to meet with Jordan’s King Abdullah and other senior officials.

The leaders discussed Middle East peace and the ongoing situation in Syria. They also met with U.S. service members at the U.S. Embassy.

The visit comes as the region faces instability, especially after President Trump’s recent announcement of U.S. troop withdrawal from Syria.
