How presidential candidates intend to woo San Diego voters during election season
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Presidential candidates are working to win over voters around the country including right here in San Diego.
More than 15.5 million early ballots were mailed out to registered California voters last week, that’s more than are up for grabs in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada combined.
Tom Steyer, Mike Bloomberg and Bernie Sanders are already spending money here in California.
For Sanders, California is a high priority, not only because of the delegate numbers at stake, but because a win in the biggest and most diverse state in the union would send a message about Sanders’ electability against President Donald Trump.
