How safe are we today?

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Thursday was a day of remembrance. September 11, 2001, is a date we will never forget. FBI Director James B. Comey was here in San Diego on Thursday, and he explained just how safe we are today. 

Almost 3,000 people died at the hands of Al Qaeda terrorists in Manhattan, the Pentagon, and in a small community in Southern Pennsylvania called Shanksville.

Two twin beams of light can be seen Thursday night from the New York City skyline. They represent the fallen twin towers of the World Trade Center.

At a time when news organization Judicial Watch reports ISIS militants are ready to stroke America From the US-Mexico border along Texas, Comey sat down with KUSI News to discuss how safe the U.S. Is today.

Comey is head of the FBI and works to keep America safe from a terrorist attack.

When questioned about ISIS militants, Comedy didn’t mince words. He referred to them as savages.
