Humidity and heat continue for San Diego
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Humid conditions and very warm temperatures continues across San Diego Tuesday, but are expected to diminish by the end of the week.
Although conditions are cooler than last week — temperatures are about average for this time of year — the combination of high heat and humidity is making it very uncomfortable.
The mountains and deserts are still seeing about a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms and light showers until Thursday. Some Southern California mountain ranges are at risk of flooding. By Friday, humidity will begin to dry up, diminishing that chance.
Tuesday’s high temperatures are expected to be 76 degrees along the coast, 88 degrees inland, 81 degrees for the mountains and 105 degrees in the deserts.
