Humidity strengthens as monsoonal moisture moves in to San Diego
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Monsoonal moisture is moving into Southern California, bringing a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday, but mostly humidity and warm temperatures.
It will be partly cloudy across San Diego County Monday with patchy morning fog near the coast and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the county. Lightening may be possible along the coastline this morning and early afternoon.
Temperatures are slightly cooler Monday than they were last week, but starting Tuesday a high pressure system will strengthen causing a slight warm up before cooling again before the weekend.
Monday’s high temperatures will be 74 to 79 degrees along the coast, 82 to 87 degrees inland, 86 to 95 in the mountains and 106 to 111 for the deserts.
