Hundreds of migrants detained ahead of Title 42 expiration

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Over the weekend, hundreds of migrants were detained at the U.S.-Mexico border just days ahead of Title 42’s expiration.

Title 42 is Trump-era legislation that prevented migrants from claiming asylum in the United States due to the pandemic emergency.
