14 injured, 2 critically, in Southern California car crash

LANCASTER, Calif. (AP) — Fire officials say 14 people were injured in a crash in Lancaster that involved a multi-passenger vehicle, the Los Angeles Times reports.

They say two of those injured in crash about noon Saturday are in critical condition.

Los Angeles County Fire Department Capt. Brian Jordan says several passengers were thrown out of the vehicle after it hit with another automobile, the Times reports.

Jordan said he did not know if the multi-passenger vehicle was a van or bus.

Jordan did not have further details about the crash, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
