2 Chicago firefighters injured battling blaze

CHICAGO (AP) — Two Chicago firefighters have been injured battling a blaze at a building on the west side of the city.

Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford says the injuries were not life threatening and the firefighters were alert.

They were taken to Stroger Hospital in Chicago. No other details were immediately released.

The fire late Sunday was in the West Garfield Park neighborhood west of downtown.
