2 women found shot dead in car in Southern California

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) — Southern California authorities are investigating the shooting deaths of two women found in a car early Wednesday.

Riverside police Officer Ryan Railsback tells the Southern California News Group a woman called police shortly after midnight and said she believed her brother may have just killed someone.

Railsback says police met the woman and her brother, detained him and collected a handgun. The woman then pointed out the parked car.

The dead women have not been identified and the detained man is only described as being in his 20s.
