3rd suspect arrested in June homicide in Reno

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Reno police have arrested a third suspect in a June homicide after a brief standoff with a SWAT team.

Police say 22-year-old Quentin Daniel Moore surrendered without incident following about an hour of negotiations at a residence just west of downtown.

Moore is wanted as a suspect in the death of 20-year-old Paul Dobbins in the Galena area south of Reno. Police say they tracked him down thanks to a tip about his whereabouts.

Two other suspects were arrested in California in July.

Moore was being held Thursday in the Washoe County Jail without bail on several charges, including suspicion of open murder.

It’s not clear if he has a lawyer or will be appointed one at a pending court appearance.
