APNewsBreak: Guilty plea expected in love triangle murder

HONOLULU (AP) — A former Army medic stationed in Hawaii expected to plead guilty to the murder of his wife, about a week before a trial was about to begin in a case involving porn, sex charges and a love triangle.

Michael Walker’s attorney Birney Bervar tells The Associated Press his client plans to plead guilty Monday. Walker was accused of conspiring with his lover to make his wife’s death look like a burglary.

In 2015, Ailsa Jackson pleaded guilty to murder, describing in court how she stabbed Catherine Walker and then waited a half-hour to make sure she was dead.

Prosecutors say Jackson and Michael Walker began an affair after meeting online and discussed carrying out the killing while Walker was at work.
