Arrest in stabbing of woman, 66, in LA-area mall parking lot
ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. (AP) — A suspect has been arrested in the death of a 66-year-old woman who was found stabbed to death in her car in a Southern California parking garage.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials announced the arrest Thursday and planned to provide details at a news conference Friday morning.
Susan Leeds was found in her car on May 3 at the Promenade on the Peninsula shopping center in Rolling Hills Estates. She had been stabbed several times.
Authorities haven’t released a motive for the killing.
