Authorities treat crowd at LA shopping center for injuries
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say they are giving medical aid to people caught up in a crowd that gathered at a shopping and entertainment center at which a rap star made a promotional appearance, KABC reports.
The TV station says that Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were treating as many as 10 people Monday night at the complex on Hollywood and Highland. People at the scene told KABC there was not a stampede.
Further details were not immediately available.
KABC says the rapper Phora was making a promotional appearance at the Shoe Palace store in the area.
Phora on his Twitter account said: “Na na na everyone good I made sure. someone passed out but she is okay now.”
