California’s June unemployment rate unchanged at 4.2 percent

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — The California Employment Development Department says the state’s unemployment rate remained at 4.2 percent in June.

The rate has held steady at the record low for three consecutive months.

In June 2017, the rate was 4.8 percent.
