FORT TEJON, Calif. (AP) — Highway crews have been working for hours to clear a fiery wreck in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 in the Grapevine area between Los Angeles and the San Joaquin Valley.

Caltrans says only lane is open early Wednesday and traffic on the major route is jammed.

The California Highway Patrol says the crash was reported around 9 p.m. Tuesday north of Fort Tejon and involved multiple big rigs and cars.
