Fire damages Southern California Amazon distribution center
REDLANDS, Calif. (AP) — Fire has damaged a large Amazon distribution center in Southern California.
KABC-TV reports the blaze broke out around 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Redlands.
Fire Department Battalion Chief Jim Topoleski says the fire was in the center of the building, originating from a solar panel on the roof.
The fire was extinguished, with no injuries, and Topoleski says firefighters were able to save a significant amount of product inside the building.
