Gusty offshore winds sweep Southern California
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Gusty winds sweeping across Southern California have toppled trees onto roads, cars and yards.
The National Weather Service says the offshore winds are gusting Tuesday in many mountain and valley areas, and will be strongest in the morning hours.
Periods of wind are expected to continue through the week.
