Los Angeles police kill man reported to have edged weapon
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police have shot and killed a man who reportedly was chasing people with an edged weapon.
The LAPD says officers were called to the northeast area shortly after noon Thursday.
There was a confrontation and the man was shot and died at the scene.
His name and other details haven’t been released.
Authorities say nobody else was hurt.
Police say they found an edged weapon at the scene.
