Naked man shot after stabbing at California restaurant
PALMDALE, Calif. (AP) — Authorities in Southern California say a security guard shot and killed a man who crashed his car into a building, stripped off his clothes, ran across the street and stabbed someone at a McDonald’s.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials say after the stabbing the man tried to attack the guard, who opened fire Sunday in Palmdale.
KABC-TV reports Monday that the stabbing victim, identified as a man in his 80s, is expected to recover.
The attacker, who has not been identified, died at a hospital.
The security guard, who works for a private firm, was not hurt.
