Questions remain about details of Alabama mall shooting
HOOVER, Ala. (AP) — Key questions remain unanswered more than two weeks after a police shooting inside an Alabama shopping mall left a black man dead.
It’s unclear what started a dispute that led to the shooting, and the exact number of shots fired is unknown. It’s also unknown exactly who shot whom.
Police are refusing to release detailed information about evidence or videos of the incident because of an investigation. It’s unclear when details might become public as protests continue almost daily.
Emantic “EJ” Bradford Jr. was initially identified by police as the gunman in a shooting that wounded two people, but police later recanted and arrested another man.
