Small quake shakes inland Southern California area
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — Some inland Southern California communities received an early morning jolt from a minor earthquake.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-3.4 tremor occurred at 5:44 a.m. Thursday.
The quake was centered 2 miles (3 kilometers) southwest of San Bernardino at a depth of about 9 miles (15 kilometers).
