TORRANCE, Calif. (AP) — An employee at an after-school program at a Southern California elementary school has been charged with molesting four students.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday 39-year-old Daniel Ayon faces six felony counts.

A press release says Ayon is accused of sexually assaulting four boys ages 10 and 11 over the last year at Amestoy Elementary School in Gardena.

Ayon pleaded not guilty to the charges Thursday and is scheduled to return to Superior Court in Torrance on July 1.

Bail is set at $3 million.

Ayon faces a possible maximum sentence of 140 years to life in state prison if convicted as charged.
