Suspicious package found at Florida airport, traffic blocked

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — The Broward Sheriff’s Office says authorities have blocked traffic at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after a suspicious package was found.

The Miami Herald reports that the sheriff’s office says the package was found outside Terminal 4 on Sunday night.

The sheriff’s office and the department’s bomb squad responded to the scene.

No other information was immediately available.
