The Latest: Authorities confirm ID of 4th bank victim

SEBRING, Fla. (AP) — The Latest on the shooting of five women at a Florida bank (all times local):

Authorities have confirmed the name of a fourth woman slain when a gunman opened fire inside a Florida bank.

The Highlands County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post Friday that 31-year-old Jessica Eileen Noreen Montague of Avon Park was killed Wednesday at the SunTrust branch in Sebring.

Montague was one of four bank employees killed, along with one customer.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Scott Dressel said a fifth bank employee was in a back breakroom when the attack began. He said the employee ran out a back door after hearing gunshots and also contacted law enforcement.

Zephen Xaver was charged with five counts of premeditated murder in the shooting. A message left for Xaver’s public defender, Blair Allen, was not immediately returned Friday afternoon.

SunTrust banks will observe a moment of silence Friday to honor the five people slain when a gunman opened fire inside a Florida branch.

In a Facebook post, SunTrust said the moment of silence will begin at 12:36 p.m. That was the time on Wednesday when Zephen Xaver called 911 and told dispatchers he had shot everyone inside the Sebring bank.

Four SunTrust employees and a customer were killed. Xaver faces five counts of premeditated murder. State Attorney Brian Haas has said he will seek the death penalty.
