Thousands of abortion opponents rally in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Thousands of abortion opponents are gathering in San Francisco to march in the 15th annual Walk for Life.
The event began with a Roman Catholic Mass on Saturday and will be followed by a rally at Civic Center Plaza and a two-mile walk on Market Street.
It is held near the 46th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion.
Organizers expected tens of thousands of participants, including seven Catholic Bishops.
