Tracee Ellis Ross leads parade of pink on Emmys carpet

NEW YORK (AP) — Love it or hate it, Tracee Ellis Ross in a puffy Valentino Haute Couture gown led the Emmys fashion color trend of the evening: Pink. Surely her look’s puffy sleeves set some sort of record for volume.

Thandie Newton wore the color in a bubblegum shade, a one-shoulder Brandon Maxwell look with a drape effect on one side. Supermodel Gigi Hadid wore it on Maxwell’s recent New York Fashion Week runway.

Scarlett Johansson wowed in white goddess Balmain for the show in Los Angeles. Claire Foy in custom Calvin Klein by Appointment and Jessica Biel in ruffly Ralph & Russo also did white justice.

Tiffany Haddish was in a class of her own. She twirled in a custom striped rainbow look of bright yellow, green, red and blue by Prabal Gurung.
