Tracy Morgan, Tiffany Haddish bring chemistry to ‘Last O.G.’

LOS ANGELES (AP) — TBS’ new comedy “The Last O.G.” stars Tracy Morgan as a man just out of prison and learning his way around a changed world.

The show also serves up a lesson in comedy chemistry.

Morgan has it with “Girls Trip” star Tiffany Haddish, who plays the ex-girlfriend who’s built a successful new life during his 15 years away.

There are sparks as well when Morgan tries to mentor his cousin, played by Allen Maldonado, and when Morgan exchanges one-liners with Cedric the Entertainer as a halfway house manager.

Morgan, who was severely injured in a 2014 highway crash, said he’s happy to share the spotlight. He calls himself a “better man” than before the accident.

“The Last O.G.” debuts 10:30 p.m. EDT Tuesday on TBS.
