Inaugural San Diego Writers Festival at San Diego Central Library

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A new festival is for writers and readers alike will be at the San Diego Central Library.

Readers can hear from some of their favorite authors discuss their books, writing process, and upcoming projects at the Inaugural San Diego Writers Festival.

Keynote speaker Piper Kerman, author of Orange is the New Black, will discuss her work teaching memoir writing in prisons

Writers can network and even pitch their work to literary agents and film producers.

The all-day event is free at the San Diego Central Library from 10 am – 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 13th
