Informational forum on dockless biking being held in Pacific Beach tonight
KUSI’s Ed Lenderman was live in Pacific Beach Wednesday ahead of a informational forum to discuss dockless bikes and scooters which have become prevalent all around San Diego.
This emerging form of alternative transportation has popped up in Pacific Beach over the last month with many users loving the convenience.
However, many have concerns about the way they’ve been introduced to our community with impacts on local rental shops in addition to safety of users and those sharing the boardwalks, roads, and sidewalks.
With scooters and bikes being left unattended in the public right-of-way, issues can be created for pedestrians and the disabled/wheelchair-bound.
Q&A with company reps from Bird, Lime, OFO, and MoBike. Wednesday, March 21st, 6:30pm, in the Crown Point Elementary Auditorium, 4033 Ingraham St.
