JA Biztown teaches kids how to run a business

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Fifth graders were able to learn how to run a business and manage a government agency at the McGrath Family JA Biztown on Sunday.

The students from Holmes Elementary School in Clairemont spent the day learning how a city’s economy works, how to apply for a job and how to run a successful business.

At Biztown students actually work a job at the facility’s 21 life-sized businesses.
