Jack Doshay faces 11 years in prison if convicted for attempted kidnapping
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Accused kidnapper Jack Doshay had a brief court hearing Wednesday.
Doshay is accused of trying to kidnap a 7-year-old girl from a Solana Beach elementary school in March.
Doshay is facing charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment and child cruelty.
Doshay was escorted to Vista Superior Court with his attorney and a driver from a psychiatric hospital .
According to Doshay’s lawyer, Doshay is receiving treatment at the psychiatric hospital, but his lawyer did not expound on the details of his treatments.
The judge set his bail at $2.5 million with specific conditions for his release and he posted bail April 11.
Doshay faces 11 years in prison if convicted.
