Jackknifed truck causes huge backup on I-15 Monday morning
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A traffic accident left a big rig jackknifed across
the northbound lanes of state Route 15 in the Fairmount Park area Monday,
causing a backup that lasted more than two hours, authorities reported.
The wreck occurred just north of SR-94 shortly after 10 a.m., according
to the California Highway Patrol.
Crews had the wreckage and spilled fuel cleared off the freeway by about
noon. Traffic was flowing smoothly through the area again as of 12:30 p.m.,
the CHP reported.
No injuries were reported.
