John McCann swears in as 41st Mayor of Chula Vista

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – After a neck-and-neck race that captured the attention of San Diego County, John McCann was announced winne3r of the 2022 Chula Vista Mayoral race.

McCann beat out his opponent, Ammar Campa-Najjar, by roughly 5% of the vote.

Mayor-elect McCann joined KUSI’s Lauren Phinney to discuss his upcoming plans for the city of Chula Vista.
