Jurors in wrongful death trial to continue deliberations Wednesday
Jurors in the Coronado Mansion wrongful death trial have gone home for the day after a first-day of deliberations.
The lawsuit filed by Rebecca Zahau’s family claims she was killed by her boyfriend’s brother Adam Shacknai, although officials say she committed suicide.
The trial began last month.
Since then, the jury heard details of autopsy reports, forensic exams and the testimony of 29 different witnesses.
The defense attorney said there is no evidence that links Shacknai to her death.
While the prosecution says they want justice for Zahau.
