Kids Cook Real Food’s summer kids cooking challenge

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Summer is fast approaching, and many parents are wondering how to best use their extra time with the kids before school creeps up on us again.

Katie Kimball is the creator of the Kids Cook Real Food eCourse joined Good Morning San Diego to discuss her cooking challenge for kids.

Preschoolers: pouring own milk or water
Early elementary: packing own lunch or snack for school
Upper elementary and beyond: basic knife skills to cut own apples, watermelon, salad and more.
