KUSI contributor Mark Larson discusses possible government shutdown

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) –  The clock is ticking toward a partial government shutdown if lawmakers can’t reach an agreement on a new government-funding legislation.

Border security is currently at the center of the fight for a new spending bill and President Trump vowed he would not sign any bill that didn’t include 5 billion dollars for a border wall.

Today congressional republicans made a new border funding offer as a homeland security spending bill but democrats immediately rejected the offer.

KUSI contributor and AM 760 radio host Mark Larson joined the show to discuss a possible government shutdown.
