KUSI to air SEC football in 2012

The Southeastern Conference will televise games of the 2012 season on San Diego's KUSI-TV. The conference includes many of the most competitive and storied college football programs in the nation.

The conference includes such college football stalwarts as Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas and South Carolina, as well as conference newcomers Missouri and Texas A&M.

“This conference is at the top level of college football,” said Mike McKinnon, Jr., President and General Manager at KUSI.   “Their teams are always in the hunt for the top ten rankings, and their games blend the excitement of NCAA competition with explosive offenses. KUSI is thrilled to bring this high quality brand of football to San Diego on KUSI TV.”

The 14 games series will begin Saturday, August 30th at 9:30 am. It will include play-by-play and color commentary live from the host city, and provide a full halftime report on SEC games. The SEC will also provide bonus games as part of the KUSI/SEC package.
