KUSI’s Steve Bosh has the latest on the SoccerCity campaign

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – On the campaign trail, SoccerCity is relying on the tax benefits of its plan for Mission Valley, saying it provides twice as much tax revenue to the city as does SDSU West. The County Taxpayers Association has analyzed both plans and confirmed this claim. SoccerCity also says because its plan has more development, it provides millions more to fund schools than does SDSU West, which will pay no property tax on most of the site. Both have run effective campaigns, and since at least a third of voters have already voted, the effort in this final week is to get out the vote.
