La Mesa teachers aid accused of molestation released on bail
A 25-year-old married woman is free on bail Wednesday morning following her arrest on suspicion of having sex with a 15-year-old boy enrolled at the La Mesa school where she's employed as a teacher's aide.
La Mesa police say Chrystina Delrosario and the teen had sex in a classroom at Reflections Central School late last month. The school is for juveniles who have committed crimes.
Detectives took Delrosario of El Cajon into custody Monday afternoon, according to La Mesa police Capt. Dan Willis.
Delrosario allegedly had sex with the teen in a classroom at her workplace, Reflections Central School, on an afternoon in late June, Willis said. There was no immediate evidence of any other episodes of illegal contact on her part with the San Diego boy or with any other juveniles, the captain said.
Delrosario was booked into Las Colinas women's detention center in Santee on suspicion of three counts of performing sex acts with a minor, according to Willis. She made bail and was released today, a jail clerk said.
Reflections Central School, an educational program for certain underage criminal defendants, is run by the county Office of Education in affiliation with the county Probation Department.
