Labrador in the dog house for driving, crashing big rig in Minnesota

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A Labrador might find himself in the dog house after taking his owner’s semi for a walk. A truck driver left his big rig idling at a trailer sales parking lot in Mankato, Minnesota and his four-legged companion took matters into his own paws.

The dog drove through the parking lot, across a street and over a curb before crashing into a tree and parked car at a Kwik Trip gas station. A civilian saw the truck slowly moving forward and took action, reaching into the vehicle to stop it. What he found inside the semi was the devious driving dog.

"I heard the tree snap and I thought somebody decided to turn around, but then it just kept going forward," David Stegora said, according to the Mankato Free Press. Stegora snapped a picture of the dog when he popped up in the driver’s side window.

Police wrote an accident report for the incident, and fortunately there were no injuries caused from the driving dog of Mankato.
