Larry Himmel Neighborhood Foundation partners with People’s Association of Justice Advocates to give foster youth a Christmas celebration

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The Larry Himmel Neighborhood Foundation will be partnering with the People’s Association of Justice Advocates to provide a Christmas for the county’s foster youth on Christmas morning this year at the National Black Contractor’s Association.

Local foster youth will spend their Christmas morning getting fed a free breakfast and receiving toys from Santa.

Miles Himmel, Founder of the Larry Himmel Neighborhood Foundation, joined KUSI’s Elizabeth Alvarez on “Good Morning San Diego” to discuss the event.

Shane Harris, Founder of the People’s Association of Justice Advocates, helped to develop the event and grew up within the foster care system himself.
