Last days to buy local bowl game tickets at current prices

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Thursday and Friday are the last days to purchase tickets for San Diego’s two college football bowl games before the prices go up Saturday, according to the San Diego Bowl Game Association.

Current prices for the Holiday Bowl range from $55 to $120 and will increase $10 per ticket in the view level and $20 in all other areas. The Dec. 27 contest will match teams from the Pac-12 and Big Ten conferences.

For the Poinsettia Bowl, prices currently range from $35 to $70 and will increase $10 per ticket. The contest on Dec. 23 will pit a team from the Mountain West against Navy, which is 4-4 and likely to get the six wins required to appear in a bowl game — based on it’s remaining schedule.

Tickets for both games can be purchased through the bowl office at Qualcomm Stadium — Gate A, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. They are also available online at www.sandiegobowlgames.com, through any TicketMaster outlet or over the phone at (800) 745-3000.
