Law enforcement saturating highways to stop reckless motorcycle groups
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — The California Highway Patrol and local law enforcement are working together to stop a motorcycle group endangering drivers on the highway.
CHP became aware of a motorcycle event involving 300 to 400 riders this past weekend who were breaking laws on the I-805.
And this isn’t the first time.
Riders have blatantly disregarded the safety of drivers around them, including law enforcement.
On one occasion, one rider broke the driver side mirror off a patrol car.
If you’re ever caught behind this group, CHP officers say to contact authorities.
