Lemon Grove School District decides to terminate 16 teacher contracts

SAN DIEGO (USI) – The Lemon Grove School District has decided to terminate the contracts of 16 teachers.

The district is deciding to let them go at the end of the second year of their probationary period because keeping them any longer would make them permanent.

Changes won’t go into effect until the end of the school year and the district does not plan to rehire the teachers.
