Lemon Grove Subway shop robbed at gunpoint

LEMON GROVE (KUSI) – Police were asking for the public's help Thursday in helping to find am armed bandit who robbed a Lemon Grove Subway and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robbery took place just before midnight at the Subway located at 6971 Broadway. No customers were present inside the store at the time of the robbery.

Police say the suspect walked up to the counter with a .45 caliber handgun tucked into his waist and demanded money. He eventually fled the scene with an undisclosed amount.
