Leslie Lopez’s Weather Discussion – Monday, March 30, 2015
A common theme this week for weather will be the marine layer and some fog for the the morning, which will turn to a beautiful afternoon with partly cloudy skies. Expect similar temperatures for the next four days.
This pattern will continue through Thursday, then temperatures will spike on Friday and Saturday, followed by another cool down Sunday. Even though our temperatures are cooler this week than last, we are still five degrees above average.
Two low-pressure systems coming up from the South will arrive in succession. On Wednesday, April 2nd, a low will thicken our marine layer further, likely bringing a longer delay of sunshine.
These warm temperatures have made this month of March in San Diego the warmest since 1923!
