Lincoln Park man hospitalized after stabbing

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A stabbing in a Lincoln Park apartment courtyard sent one man to the hospital and resulted in the attacker being taken into custody early Tuesday, authorities said.

The 31-year-old man was attacked at 4610 Nogal Street, and the incident was reported just before 8 p.m. Monday night.

His attacker, a 33-year-old man, is suspected of stabbing the victim four times with a butcher knife, including in the shoulder, chest and thigh. The victim was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, and his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

The reasons for the argument and stabbing were not immediately available.
